Compliance & Program Director | Addiction Medicine
Katelyn Melancon serves as the Compliance & Program Director at MAT’s Clinic, where she leads the development and delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. As a proud wife and mother to two daughters, Katelyn approaches her work with a deep sense of purpose and heart—understanding firsthand how addiction impacts families and the importance of building systems that foster healing and resilience. She brings a strong foundation in clinical operations, compliance oversight, and program development.
Katelyn holds a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work. She is highly trained in The ASAM Criteria and applies this framework to ensure patients are placed in the most clinically appropriate level of care, ranging from outpatient services to residential treatment and medically managed detox, based on their individualized needs and goals.
Her background includes experience in both outpatient and community-based treatment settings, including mental health rehabilitation and integrated behavioral health programs. She has led CARF and Joint Commission readiness efforts, contributed to the development of clinical protocols, and collaborates closely with providers to uphold the highest standards of care delivery and documentation.
Katelyn is especially passionate about bridging gaps between addiction services and broader systems of support. She collaborates with patients, families, and referral sources to promote coordinated care that honors each person’s journey and supports meaningful, sustainable recovery.
